A Spoilery Look At Batman #28′s Last Page - ***SPOILERS FOR BATMAN #28***

Last week’s Batman #28 finally introduced *CENSORED* back into DC’s New 52 universe, and the appearance was long over due. After years of fans clamoring for the former *CENSORED* to return, Dan Didio, Scott Snyder, and Dustin Nguyen have answered the cries and given us just what we want. The only problem? We have to wait until April’s Batman Eternal #1 to see her again, as this last issue of Batman was just a short break in the Batman Year Zero storyline. But while we’re waiting for more *CENSORED*, let’s take a look at the one page we’ve got.
August 2013 Solicits For DC Comics

DC has some final issues set to come out this August along with some special one-shots. Continuing DC’s big summer event of the Trinity War, there is a Trinity War Directors Cut special which features Geoff John’s script and Ivan Reis’ penciles. You can also look forward to the huge Batman Inc Special with its solicit directly below. Sadly a few titles are on their final issue, so fans will have to say goodbye to great series like Legion of Super-heroes, Demon Knights, Dial H, and Threshold. Snyder & Capullo Bring Batman Back To Year Zero

No, Scott Snyder is not writing Batman into a Nine Inch Nails album or a book by Jeff Long or Robert Reid. However, what he is doing is trumping Frank Miller by going back and telling the story of Batman’s first year as a caped crusader…the year before Year One. April 2013 Solicits For DC Comics

April brings some big surprises to the DC universe, but you wont see much of them on the covers or solicits to this month’s books. DC is bringing gatefold covers (fold out covers that were quite popular about 20 years ago in the comic industry) to each of the New 52 titles, with the hidden half of the cover that will be folded up on the shelf all set to shock and awe the readers. New Creative Teams For Swamp Thing and Red Hood & The Outlaws

April’s solicits for DC aren’t out just yet, but we already have news about some of the big creative team change ups. It was announced a while back that Scott Snyder would be stepping away from Swamp Thing to focus on the many other titles he was currently working on, and issue #18 would be his final issue. March has DC putting out a mighty fine collection of new comics, including the start of a brand new series starring everyone’s favorite Hellblazer, John Constantine. Yes, Constantine #1 finally replaced Hellblazer in a controversial move from DC that brings the magical bastard in his own DCU on-going. DC has just announced their new releases for the new year, and 2013 is looking rather strong.
