YouTube To Recognize Geeks For A Whole Week!
YouTube users and creative types that love comedy already got a great celebration back in May that was filled with hilarious videos from professional comedians and YouTube celebrities alike. But what about Geeks? We’re a quickly growing culture that has suddenly become quite popular in the past decade, as people finally recognize something we’ve all long since known: Being A Geek Is Awesome! Thankfully, the many Geeks over at Google and YouTube have finally decided to emphasize that with an upcoming YouTube Geek Week. Starting on August 4th and running through August 10th, YouTube will be celebrating Geeks with a ton of awesome new videos and promotion of great Geeky YouTube channels. Around that time we’ll also begin to roll out a lot more Geeky videos at our Speak Geeky To Me YouTube channel, including some of our recent San Diego Comic Con International video interviews. So check out YouTube’s trailer for the event below, which will soon even get play on actual television, and prepare yourself for a lot of visual and audio Geek entertainment!
