How To Train Your Dragon 2 Official Trailer
Fans of Dreamwork’s How To Train Your Dragon and Riders of Berk series have already seen several great teasers for the upcoming How To Train Your Dragon 2. However, the return to Berk looks even more amazing with the first official trailer for the film coming out today. This epic new look at the world of vikings and dragons has a few little surprises that tell viewers quite a bit about what to expect from the upcoming movie. The film keeps its light hearted humor, with some particularly adorable and funny scenes shown off in the trailer, while also looking incredibly epic with major battle scenes and fast paced adventure ahead in the second film of the trilogy. The movie it set to hit theaters in June of next year, with a returning cast of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, and Jonah Hill. Joining the cast for the sequel are Djimon Hounsou (In America, Blood Diamond) and Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington (there’s humor in that, right?) who play dragon hunters, and Cate Blanchett who portrays Valka, a reclusive vigilante from the Arctic, who rescues dragons and has a major connection to the film’s protagonist, which is seen in the trailer below. How To Train Your Dragon 2 will be in theaters on June 13th of 2014, four years after the release of the original film and exactly 2 years before the final movie in Dean DeBlois’ Dragon trilogy. Check out the trailer below and start getting excited, because the TV series, Dragons: Defenders of Berk, starts back up early next year on January 22nd.
