But this weekend is a rather fun highlight as Long Beach Comic Expo returns to sunny Long Beach, California for it’s 7th annual spring expo. This year they seem bigger than ever before, with a huge jump in the number of guests and exhibitors attending the rather large show. Gone are the days where this was a teaser show for the fall event of Long Beach Comic Con, because now this is a notable venture all on its own. So if you’re one of the many who couldn’t get tickets to San Diego’s big Comic Con or just can’t wait for July, make sure you make it out to Long Beach this weekend and say hi to us while you’re there!

History: The 2015 expo will begin Long Beach’s lucky 7th year running both a spring expo and fall convention in sunny Long Beach, California. Its first year was marked by Stan Lee & Long Beach City Councilmember Robert Garcia opening the show with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an overall attendance of 6,300+ unique individuals. The show has continued to steadily grow ever since. The spring shows were once one day events, now expanded to two, and in the past they’ve included major events like the filming of Felicia Day’s The Guild, live on site. Now, what was once an off season teaser for the Long Beach Comic, Long Beach Comic Expo is a full and quickly growing comic con.
