New How To Train Your Dragon Series, Race To The Edge, Exclusive To Netflix!
After two brilliant all ages films and a Cartoon Network TV series, the literary based How To Train Your Dragon series is back for another TV show. This time Dreamwork’s Dragons series is find a new home, however, exclusively on Netflix. Today Dreamworks and Netflix announced the series title, Dreamwork’s Dragons: Race to the Edge, and a release date of June 26th. Much like Daredevil, House of Cards, and countless other Netflix original series, the streaming service will release all 13-episodes of the series on its premiere date.
In this new original series Hiccup and Toothless lead the Dragon Riders as they soar beyond the borders of Berk and discover the mysterious Dragon Eye — an ancient artifact filled with secrets that will lead them to new lands filled with undiscovered dragons. But the heroes find themselves pursued by marauding dragon hunters, who will stop at nothing to seize the power of the Dragon Eye.
With this information also comes a brand new teaser of the upcoming series, featuring footage from the show’s opening credits. Take a look below:
