Following the tragic events of issue one, Shine must come to grips with the fact that, besides her Bonk Racer and Gabbo, she is now alone. However, in the present, and a crucial leg of the Super Bonk Rally, the team discovers that having company around can actually be far worse!
Hitting stores this Wednesday, the second issue of the series will continue the video game like racer. Told in a series of five epic comic issues, each issue will represent a leg of the race of all races—the Super Bonk Rally! This mini-series will span amazing landscapes and death-defying terrain, as these racers go completely Psycho Bonkers! Written by Vince Hernandez (Damsels in Excess, Trish Out of Water) and drawn by Adam Archer (Marvel Universe Guardians of the Galaxy, Scribblenauts), with colors by Federico Blee (Damsels in Excess, Worlds of Aspen), issue #2 will be available in comic shops at just $3.99 on June 24th, 2015! The all ages comic will feature 2 main covers, one by series artist Adam Archer and one by the talented Siya Oum (Lola XOXO, Worlds of Aspen), as well as a retailer incentive variant cover by Aspen’s President, Peter Steigerwald!
