Sex #1 Preview (The Comic Might Be Dirty, But The Preview Is Safe For Work)
Finally, a good reason for you come into the comic book store — to buy SEX! Simon Cooke has retired from his own “alternative lifestyle” and returned to the city he’d previously sworn to protect. Now he’s just another average citizen — or is he? The term “adult” has never been so appropriate as it is when it applies to SEX. A new comic definitely aimed at Mature Readers, this is writer Joe Casey’s follow up to his popular adult superhero series, Butcher Baker Righteous Maker. Joe Casey (Wildcats 3.0, Haunt) is joined by artist Piotr Kowalski (Gail, Malignant Man) in this very provocatively titled new series from Image Comics that is sure to grab major shelf attention at your local comic shop. However, reading our 3-page preview below might give you a very different feel for the book. The art and story of Sex’s preview give it more of a Watchmen look and feel. Don’t doubt that this is sure to make for an interesting new series when it hits stores this Wednesday, March 6th.
