Escondido’s world class brewery, Stone, is known for their bitter betters, awesome events, and an often geeky crowd enjoying their very incredible beer gardens. The Escondido location for Stone Brewery has played host to signings that include Keven J. Anderson, has been frequented by many comic creators and genre actors, and regularly holds summer movie nights that include some cult classics with great geek themes. But Stone might have just made itself a geek beer mecca with this awesome, yet subtle, new addition. Next month they are bringing back their delicious w00tstout beer for a second version, a literal 2.0. Why does this seem ultra geeky? Because of the bottle art! The art is being done by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons! Announced on facebook today, check out a rough sketch of what the bottle art will look like below:
