Whether you’re still singing the Oscar award winning theme song of Frozen, or you’ve long since ‘Let It Go’, if you’re a fan of Disney’s Frozen you’ll probably adore this new news. Elsa, Olaf, Anna, and the rest are back this spring to sing away the cold! In a nearly contradictory name to that cheesy preceding line I wrote, Frozen Fever is the title of a new 7-minute short film featuring the cast of Frozen. Best of all? It has yet another new song by the award winning creative team that wrote ‘Let It Go’, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Will this one take over the radio like the last and drive parents crazy? It’s quite possible.

Frozen Fever will premiere before Disney’s upcoming live action feature film Cinderella, on March 13th of this year. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee once more, the vocal talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad will also be returning to reprise their beloved roles as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf (thought I’m sure Sven will be there too). We first heard rumors of this film back in September, when ABC aired the making of Frozen. Now we have photographic evidence of the production! Apparently the story goes that Elsa is planning to throw Anna a huge birthday party, with all of her Frozen friends, whether that’s includes Arendelle’s Official Ice Master and Deliverer… or cake-hungry Olaf!
