Son-of-Batman-Blu-ray-cover-artThe 20th DC Universe Animated Original Movie, Son of Batman, is having its world premiere tonight at WonderCon in Anaheim. Based on Grant Morrison’s popular Batman and Son storyline that originally ran in issues #655 through #658, the story has been reworked by writer James Robinson (Starman, Fantastic Four) and converted to screen by Joe R Lansdale (Batman: TAS, Bubba Ho-Tep). Now is your chance to see it first along with the cast and crew at Anaheim’s biggest comic convention! The movie itself will be available to everyone else on May 6th, just a few weeks away. But if you’re attending the convention I highly recommend making your way up to the Anaheim Convention Center’s arena (a separate building right off of Katella) by 6PM to watch the premier and hear from Jason O’Mara (Batman), Sean Maher (Nightwing), Xander Berkeley (Langstrom), Stuart Allan (Damian) — and filmmakers James Tucker (producer), Ethan Spaulding (director), Phil Bourassa (character designer) and Andrea Romano (dialogue director) in a special panel following the screening. All of the panelists will also be signing exclusive-to-WonderCon “Son of Batman” mini-posters in just a few hours, from 3:30-4:30PM, in the DC Entertainment booth (booth #401).
