Google PokemonIt’s April 1st here in America, but it was first April 1st in Japan where Google officially announced their newest job opening. A Google job is a highly coveted career choice, allowing you to work for one of the top companies in the world. Hell, they made a movie about how awesome it was to work at Google, even if the movie itself wasn’t very awesome. But this job is special, and many of you have been training for it for years. Some of you might even have left your homes behind at the young age of 10 to adventure out and begin your path, earning badges, learning skills, and making new friends along the way. We’re not talking about joining the scouts…that’s bush league stuff. Because the real adventurers out there know that the greatest adventure is making your way to the Indigo Plateau and proving you can be a Pokemon Master!
But there can be only one Google Pokemon Master, and to earn that tile Google has devised a way to prove your skills. As the Google Pokemon Master you’ll be working under the Google Maps department. So to test your merit, the Google Maps app now has a limited time feature that allows you to catch Pokemon. Just go to the search option in the upper left of your app and click Start. From there you’re off on your own Journey to catch 150 different Pokemon from various generations and regions near Palo Alto, California, home of Google. To find out more, watch the video below:
