To coincide with today’s TCA press tour this afternoon Yahoo! released a fun 2 minute video to announce the March 17th season 6 premier of the show that just can’t be stopped. Set to debut on Yahoo! Screen, the season will open with a 2 episode premier, followed by a new first run episode every Tuesday. Going against the current norm of internet based television programming having the entire season released all at once.

“I feel in my old school bones — like they are very old, these bones — so it feels to me like the right way to do it. I love, in fact, specifically releasing the [first] two instead of one the first week so that there isn’t that feeling of, ‘I saw the premiere. I don’t know. I still have questions.’ It’s like then you see on the next episode, it’s okay. [You can] sit for a week. Maybe old school is the best school. It is for rap!” Creator Dan Harmon said regarding the topic

The video showcases its returning stars amusingly “not plugging” Community, or its new home on Yahoo! Screen. Because, why should they? “You know who we are.”

Ever since the June 30th 2014 announcement by Yahoo! that it had saved Community and had ordered a 13 episode 6th season, its rabid fans have been left wondering “How much longer do we have to wait?” The long wait has finally come to an end.
